Welcome!

I am an independent research group leader. I have two main research interests: a) language emergence and evolution, with a specific focus on  -but not limited to- the emergence of linguistic features
in micro-community sign languages, b) language processing –more specifically, morphological processing in spoken languages. My team currently investigates language emergence and evolution in the absence of conventionalized linguistic models within the scope of BIDEB-2232 International Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers grant program awarded by TUBITAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey).
